BEDFORD (QUEENS PARK) GREYHOUND STADIUM

The town of Bedford has had two greyhound tracks in the past, the latest of which was built around the perimeter of the local football team. The earlier track on Cardington Road had closed in 1929. The independently run track was situated in the Queens Park area of the town at 0° 28' W 52° 7' N and first opened its gates in 1975

. Racing continued at the track for 7 years before the final meeting took place in 1982.
